The Forty-Seventh Annual ASA Conference will be held at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, March 7-9, 2024.Online Registration* will be opened September 1, 2024. On-site registration opens March 7.
The last date for refund requests is February 22*. Notify Shelly Bolen by email at journals@uillinois.edu or by phone (217) 300-5437 by February 22.
2024 **Membership includes an electronic version of the Journal of Appalachian Studies; the ASA newsletter, Appalink; and conference mailings. You may include print copies of the 2024 volume of the journal (2 issues) with your membership for an additional $20.

*Conference registration for the ASA conference includes membership in the Association. The membership portion is non-refundable. Only the portion for the conference registration will be refunded if requested by the above listed refund deadline date.
